Okay, as promised a long time ago we have finially launched our Instant Messaging chat application. At present its not flawless and contains a few minor bugs, but its good enough for everyone to start using. In addition to this we have made major changes to the Photo Gallery. Some of the changes include the return of Photo Tagging, we have also spruced up the design of the albums. Please enjoy Paul

Okay, so last night when attempting to fix the photo tagging I actually broke the Photo Albums, this has since been fixed and albums are now fully operational again!

Well its been a long time coming, though now we can now also use bold, images , and links. We are also in the process of making the use of these items alot easier.

Hay everyone, with the launch of the new design I have removed a few of the features, though as you can now see we have just included the Photo Albums application back into the site. You will now have to edit your albums once again and make sure that your privacy levels are infact correct. Thanks

Design Changes

Update: We have updated the look of the site in many aspects over the last week. Some of the more noticeable changes will be the social feed, now all the images are perfect squares, and the media content within the feed is limited to only showing 5 items. We have also repositioned alot of the content boxes on the My Home and Home Pages. Thanks

New Features To Albums

With the recent updates to the site, I have now included some very good changes to the Photo Albums section. These changes now include the option to make Profile Photos from your current selection of photos in your album. Also we have been working on including trackbacks from albums to other social networking sites like Facebook, Fark, Myspace etc... This move is similar to the one already used within the blog section.

Update: The Friends section within user profiles and search has currently been disable whilst I make a few changes to look of it to match the rest of the site. So dont worry about your Friends disappearing etc... Thanks Paul

Limitations

We have recently performed slot of updates on Friendsta to increase the speed of the site. This been the case I have had limit some of items on the site until all the upgrades have been complete. But rest assure these features will all be functioning again as well as more newer features

Maintenance

Updated: Last night we experiance some slight downtime as we relocated the site from America across the ocean to an Australian based location. With the relocation we should noticed faster loading of the site, and a few new features. We will keep you posted about the changes still to come.

Music Revamp

Okay, we have done bit of a revamp on the music section, much to everyones delight. You can now view what songs other users have upload via the Music option on the top menu, from this option you can listen to there songs. In the future we wll be making it so you can add a song from another user to your playlist etc...

Search

Over the last week we have been working to produce a search feature that will not only look good, but be easy for you the users of the site to use. We have currently opted to use a search feature similar to that found in iTunes and the Apple Website. Over the next week or so I plan on adding the feature to search through friends list to this. Updated Invite Page

Using the invite page, has now just been made alot easier due to the fact you can now access your msn, gmail, hotmail, linkedin services all from this page. Simply plugin in your email,pass and our service will get a list of your friends. Then you simply choose which ones you would like to Invite here. Cant be much simplier. Thanks Paul

Friendsta Has The Beats!

Friendsta is proud to announce not only the launch of Musician and Band profiles to the site, but also the ability for users to upload there only songs to there account, and in turn produce their own online playlist for the world to view. So Friendsta now has all the beats, and caters for the people that bring us the beats the Musician and Band

Login / Logut Issues

Early this morning I installed a new application for music, which caused some issues with the login and logout processes. Until I can fix this issue I will be removing the music application. All over applications are in working order.

Feed Me The Info

Update: Over the last couple of days I have been performing some updates on Friendsta, one of the most noted updates will be the addition of the employment application. This application allows users to list all the companies and positions that they have held within these companies.

Groups/Events

Update: We have recently added 2 brand new applications to Friendsta. These applications are Groups & Events. Within the Groups application we have also added a discussion board which acts like a mini forum. In addition to this, both of these applications also include photo uploading, photo tagging, and commenting.

My Emotion

The My Emotion feature that was so popular on version one of Friendsta has now been bought back to life. And with the new version of My Emotion users will have a little emoticon to display there emotion. My Emotions are edittable from the My Home menu option. Thanks Paul
